Covert Ops
The Astero is a Sisters of Eve Faction Covert Ops Frigate.
Asteros are one of the first Covert Ops ships that new players will be able to fly. They don't have the range or the damage output of Bombers, but they do offer protection to the Covert Ops fleet in that they can tackle small ships and haze them off the fleet, which would normally be very vulnerable to them. They act as tackle for the fleet and use drones to slowly kill their opponents.
