Slack Channel List
Here you can find a comprehensive list of most public channels on the Brave Collective Slack Workspace, their details, what they're for, and why you should join them. Besides default channels being listed first, this list is in no particular order at the moment.
To join a public chat channel, click on the Channels header on the left sidebar in Slack, and then select the channel you're interested in to preview it. At the bottom of the page you can then click the Join Channel button to fully join it.
Ping Channels
These are channels dedicated to sending out notifications. Everyone in Brave should be in most if not all of these channels.
#announcements
This is a channel which leadership heads use to send announcements. You cannot leave it, and only slack admins can type in it.
#brave-updates
This is an announcement channel with threaded discussion.
#pings-stratop
This is your general pings channel. Only FCs and leadership can send pings to this channel via the Brave Collective Ping Board.
#pings-skirmish
A channel for more fun-focused fleets. Anyone can send pings to this channel via the Brave Collective Ping Board.
#pings-casual
This is a more general purpose pings channel which anyone can send pings to via the Brave Collective Ping Board.
#pings-moons
Public Moons that have just detonated along with private moons that are being made public are pinged out here.
#pings-dojo
This channel is for dojo class pings, which anyone can send via the Brave Collective Ping Board.
#brave-empire-pings
This is the pings channel for our highsec corporation, Brave Empire.
News Channels
Just as their name implies, news channels are places to receive updates on all sorts of topics.
#feeds
This channel has an RSS Feed which relays updates to Eve Online, including dev-blogs, patches, and reports.
#war-updates
Here you can get up to date reports on and discuss any wars we're currently involved in. Also home to the Brave Opinion Poll.
#wormhole-weather
This is where intel about wormhole signatures found are reported.
