North Korean Nuclear Research

Why Join NOOKD?

North Korean Nuclear Research is a Corporation in BRAVE that strives to offer a welcoming and light-hearted approach to learning and enjoying everything Eve Online has to offer at every level of skill and expertise. We seek to share our combined knowledge and experience in an engaging and comprehensive way in order to make the more intricate aspects of the game accessible to everyone while empowering individual pilots to strive toward and achieve their goals. While we've had strong showing of Industry and Extraction minded folks who generally sit around together sharing tales and brews whilst accomplishing their goals, we are also becoming strong in the Disciplines of Combat and have a ferocious pack ready to defend our space.. or go on the hunt! As a Corporation in BRAVE we try to offer a personalized and friendly experience amongst all our pilots to foster a sense of community and loyalty amongst, not only ourselves, but the alliance as a whole.

We are also seeking to diversify ourselves to ensure we have a wide variety of like-minded but unique individuals that reach across multiple time zones to offer a social and friendly environment. That being said, we do not and will not tolerate intolerance or malicious intent and expect all our pilots to conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner to provide a welcoming home to everyone regardless of any factors; Pixel-Space has enough room for folks of every kind.

-Note from the CEO:

"My name is Minok, and I run a Corp that is focused on helping new players learn to have fun playing EVE Online. I've been playing for more than a decade, and have seen some things 8-O but what I enjoy most is when a new player finds something in it that really connects with them. While we are a part of the larger Brave alliance, the premier place for new pilots to learn Eve, we also offer a small group feel to help you get acclimated to life in null-sec and make space friends."

-We offer some cool perks to get you off the ground and move from noob to novice to experienced:

  • Monthly mining competitions with a 175 Million Isk prize pool and additional door prizes!
  • Open Ore corporate buyback and reprocessing service.
  • We run events to keep pilots engaged including, but not limited to, Corp-Sponsored Moon Mining, Small Roaming PvP Fleets, Ratting, Exploration, Wormholes, and anything else we want to get into!
  • Learning resources such as the Wiki and Dojo program, a set of Comprehensive Skill Plans to provide an easy-to-process path into new ships, jobs, and levels of intensity to stimulate your growth, lots of information in the Corp Bulletin Page located in-game under: Neocom > Social > Corporation, and of course the experience and information from seasoned vets that are excited to share their passion.
  • Tons of Large-Scale PvP content, Free ship handouts, Alliance Ship Replacement Plans (SRP), and access to many Alliance and Corp fits to get you into a ship that works for you.

Notes before Joining

  • We require the use of Discord, Slack and Mumble.
  • We Strongly suggest ALL applicants should complete the initial training missions and the Sisters of Eve Arc before applying. Instructions about these missions are listed in the Rookie Help window in-game. Trust us, if you're new to Eve, you should learn to crawl and walk in high-sec before you try to do backflips in null-sec.
  • Alpha pilots welcomed. No minimum skill points required.
  • Upon acceptance, we'll help you join the rest of us in Querious. This will likely consist of you selling all of your stuff, setting our base as your home station, then self-destructing and waking up in null-sec. We'll take it from there.
