-The strategy used for this attempt was to use a one-down cap chain, everyone kept one cap transmitter on the dread at all times, and one was used situationally: there was heavy neut pressure and so whoever was catching that aggro would get capped up from this free transmitter from everyone else, and in turn they would put their free one on the dread until aggro switched, and then things were adjusted accordingly. Completion time was about 10 min or slightly less. Damage was not so horrible so it may be possible to speed this up by dropping another shield booster and adding another cap transmitter to keep on the dread (testing required).

-6/13/23 - [BLOCK THE BROADCAST] The jammers are timed to come back online very quickly so getting all three down with a single hacking frigate is nigh impossible, possible but perhaps difficult with 2 hacking frigates. We had good results with 3 cruisers fitted with data analyzers and fit to have decent range for DPS. In the case of this first attempt it was rail Moas modified from deprecated doctrine fits. We also had 2 ospreys (standard or slightly modified [[member:alliance:military:doctrines:ships:osprey#ab_fits | B.U.L.SHIP fits]]) for logi, and they were able to orbit the central tower and still provide effective reps while the Moas sat at 0 on the jammers. The Moas could then perform a synchronized hack (very easy green hacking level) giving a window of about 45-60 seconds in which to apply damage to the tower. Total time to complete was appx 10 minutes. Fits could certainly be brought down to more meta modules and T1 rigs to reduce cost and skill requirements. Other contenders may be rail thorax, beam omen, or other cruisers with decent range (40-50km) and moderate tank.

We believe we may have warped in on a site that had been abandoned by some other group who had started it, as the Charon was already //very// damaged. There was also a lot of confusion and chaos as the Guristas employ a blackbird here with very effective jams. Our Ospreys quickly fell prey to the jams and were unable to effectively rep the Charon, failing after only a few minutes. Further testing with this site needed.
