How to get to the Brave staging system as a new member

This guide gives you some advice on how to get to our staging system. It is designed to help you get there; we don't guarantee you will make it.

Brave is currently living in GE-8JV, which is in the Catch region of New Eden.

This system (usually referred to as simply "GE" or "GE-tac") is where our operations operate from. You may not want to move absolutely everything you own out there – since the system is in sov-null, it can be taken over by anyone who can beat us – but in general you should feel pretty safe there. We recommend keeping most of your ships in the Fortizar citadel in GE- rather than the station, as it can be easy to be blockaded inside a station.

If you do want to store your excess or unused ships somewhere else, Mendori is our Logistics staging system.

NOTE: Characters older than a month old can only use the remote clone location change once every 365 days.

1. Go to the next station with a Clone Bay when you are ready to accept your invite. You can locate it by using the Star Map. On the World Map Control Panel go to: Star Map → Stars → Services, then select Clone bay.

2. Once you are docked, accept the invite and change your clone location to GE-8JV. Also get on our comms (Mumble), forums, Slack, etc. as soon as you accept the invite. (Core, Mumble, Jabber)
IMPORTANT: Once you accept the invite, you won't be safe in High Sec, so be in a cheap ship!
The Clone Bay is accessed via the Station Services (the Icon that looks like the top half of a coffin). There click on "Change Station", then select GE-8JV VII - Parroto Sanctuary.

Alternatively you can just travel to Agil, the last high sec system before you enter low sec. Dock up in the station there, accept the invite then set up our services, etc. (same links as above) and complete your journey. You will have to go through low and null sec on your way, so be careful and don't warp gate to gate in null. If you are on our Mumble comms, you can join the standing fleet and ask for intel or an escort if you are particularly nervous.

• Decide what to bring with you. If you are a relatively new player, you can probably simply liquidate your assets (sell them for ISK or reprocess and sell the materials) and fly your pod down. Older players - we have a freight service for moving your stuff (but see Section 1 above).

• Do not warp from gate to gate when you are in Null, use bookmarks or warp to celestials to avoid bubbled gates.
• Warp to corporation Bookmarks at range (when you right click on them, you can select ranges to warp to. Pick one that isn't 0)! Other alliances know them, so don't feed them easy kills.

• When you accept the invite, you will receive an welcome mail. Please read it carefully and follow all the instructions.

Note: Alpha Clones cannot train the Cloaking skill, so are unable to use cloak modules. Do not bother buying the Prototype Cloaking Device I item in the fits below. (And be more careful about travelling, since you can't cloak+MWD either. In fact you could just buy a cheap shuttle, since it will get you around faster - check the local market in Torrinos.)
