The Brave Alpha Army was created by the Brave Dojo as a rapid-deployment force with an extremely low barrier to entry. This sig is great for getting involved in more casual fleets with less demanding requirements, and a great opportunity for those interested in FCing to dip their toes into it while getting paid for their content creation! 

By utilizing Eve's Recruit a Friend Program, anyone can create a combat-capable character for the Alpha Army in a matter of minutes. And what's more, ships ranging from cormorants to feroxes are handed out free-of-charge by the Dojo and FC Teams before each fleet, which means the cost to get involved for anyone who wishes to is only that of skillbooks!

===== Getting Started =====

Getting an account and character made takes only a few minutes, simply follow the instructions below and you'll be good to go!

  - Login to the [[https://www.eveonline.com/signup?invc=91b05a65-1cdd-41d7-be22-a45e7e9135c9|Eve Recruit a Friend Website]], and use the link there to create a new Eve account.
  - Create a character on this new account. Caldari might make most sense, but the difference is small. Beyond this the character can be customized however you like. 
  - Dock up in the nearest station and logout. Feel free to skip the tutorial.
  - Check the <text type="success">Needed Skillbooks</text> section of your chosen phase's initial plan below, and send your character the ISK required to purchase them. 
    - Note: If buying the skills directly from your skill window, the cost is +30%. 
  - Log back in, redeem the 1,000,000 SP, and start following the skillplans in the phase of your choosing. 
    - For each phase you can buy the required skillbooks from a school station or the character sheet. 
  - Make sure to add the character to your [[https://account.bravecollective.com/|Brave Core]] account.
  - Apply at https://joinus.bravecollective.com/nubs (mention in #alpha-army there's an application waiting)
  - Move to the relevant staging system for your character. When you have received a corp invite, accept it when you have reached staging.
  - Join <fc #6495ed>**#alpha-army**</fc> and <fc #6495ed>**#alpha-army-pings**</fc> on Slack, and keep an eye out for pings!

===== Skillplans =====

These skillplans are ultra-specialized for Alpha Army doctrine ships while also being extremely quick to train. While the combination of both paths total just over 3.5 million SP, it is recommended to use different characters for each.

===== Get Paid to Run Fleets! =====

The Brave Dojo will pay anyone who wants to try their hand at FCing Alpha Army Fleets! Just follow the instructions below to get started!

==== What Are the Rates? ====

The current rates are as follows:

  * War Commander: TBA (Currently Occupied)
  * First Fleet: 200 Million ISK
  * Second Fleet: 100 Million ISK
  * Third Fleet: 50 Million ISK

==== What Do I Need to Do? ====

After you've finished running your fleet, you'll need to send an After Action Report to <text type="success">Jinx D'ojo</text> in-game via evemail, and post it to the <fc #6495ed>**#community-pvp-fleet-command**</fc> channel on Slack. 

The AAR itself doesn't need to be long or complicated, and you can check the aforementioned Slack channel for some previous examples. In general you want your AAR to have the following:

  * What kind of fleet you formed, and the objective if there was one. 
  * A rundown of what happened during the fleet. 
  * Your analysis of the fleet. (ie. What went well? What could have gone better? Did you learn any lessons? etc.)
