How to Setup Our IT Services

Your Core Services Account manages your access to Brave Services. You need to set this up for even the most basic access to our services, so make sure to do this before completing any further steps.

  1. Click LOG IN With EVE Online and login to your main account.
  2. Select your main character and click Authorize in the bottom right corner.
  3. Now on the main page, again click LOG IN With EVE Online and repeat steps 2 and 3 for all your alt characters.
These applications are absolutely essential to participating in Brave events, fleets, and operations. You should set them up as soon as possible after joining.

The below 3 services are used on a day to day basis in Brave, you'll almost certainly want to set these up first.

Slack

Setup Slack Here

This is a channel based chat program which is the main place to get fleet notifications, alliance related announcements, ask questions, theorycraft, discuss industry, and chat about all sorts of topics. Head over to #dojo if you have any questions about how to use it. Please don't type in any channel with 'pings' in its name.

Mumble

Setup Mumble Here

This is a voice communication program which allows you talk with alliance mates, organize fleets, and listen for intel about enemy fleets. We ask that you at least be logged into mumble whenever you're doing anything in-game, even if you can't talk or don't have a microphone.

You are only required to setup Brave Collective Voice Comms, all other Mumble servers are optional.

Discord

Setup Discord Here

This program is similar to Slack, and is used for coalition level chat, trading and fleet notifications.

The Brave Collective wiki contains many pages that are only accessible by authorized users, along with some public ones (including the one you're reading right now). Within the wiki you can find guides on many aspects of Eve, player run programs to help you prosper as an Eve Player, along with resources such as fleet doctrine fits. Please click here to authorize the wiki using your Core Services account. After you you have done this, you just have to log in to the wiki using your Core Services account details to view these pages.

The Brave Collective forums are where you can read the latest announcements from alliance leadership and engage in discussions with alliance members. Please click here to authorize the forums using your Core Services account and to read the instructions for using the forums.

These applications can be setup now or authorized as needed.

The Sentinal App provides visual information about the movements of hostile players reported by alliance and coalition members. Bear in mind you need to have Test Auth setup to use this app.

BraveBucks is a program which pays you for destroying enemy ships within our space. How much you get is dependent on what you destroyed, how many people helped you, and what system you were in at the time. You can setup BraveBucks here. Contact Avend Avalhar on slack in case of issues.

The Brave Collective Ping application lets you check pings that have been sent by other alliance members and send your own pings. Please click the Click Here to Authorize button to authorize the ping application using your Core Services account.

The Brave Collective SRP Website lets you apply for alliance reimbursement for the loss of your ship when you participate in fleets that are covered by SRP. You can also view the full details of our SRP Program here.

The Brave Collective Timer Board lets you see a list of timers that the alliance might form fleets for. Please click the Click Here to Authorize button to authorize the timer board using your Core Services account.
