About Brave

The Brave Collective is an alliance that was founded over two years ago by Brave Newbies Inc. to find new friends and to fly with them into battle. We focus exclusively on providing players who are new to EVE Online with an active community and friendly environment where they can have fun as they learn more about EVE Online. While we are mainly a PvP alliance that operates in known as well as wormhole space, there are corporations in our alliance that participate in other aspects of EVE Online such as exploration, manufacturing, mining, and trading.

After having taken the EVE Online community by storm and having grown to become EVE Online's fifth largest corporation in three months, Matias Otero, the CEO of Brave Newbies Inc. at the time, received diplomatic offers from various alliances based in high security, low security as well as null security space inviting Brave Newbies Inc. to join their respective alliances. With the goal of maintaining political independence and because of the need to allow members of other corporations who had flown with Brave Newbies Inc. previously to be able to continue flying with them without having to leave their corporations, Matias Otero declined these offers politely and decided to create the Brave Collective alliance in Rahadalon on May 6th, 2013.

Alliance-level services include but are not limited to our in-game alliance channels, jabber, mumble and subreddit.

All of our alliance-level services have a group of administrators and moderators who are authorized to determine whether a user's activity is in line with the rule stated above. If an administrator or moderator requests a user to cease an activity then the user must cease that activity immediately. Failure to comply with an instruction issued by an administrator or moderator by a user shall result in that user being banned from using our alliance-level services on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Other services (I.E. Sister-Corp level services) are not covered by these rules.

All Brave Collective Services have a group of Administrators and Moderators who will occasionally make judgement calls regarding conduct. Publically disrespecting or arguing when asked to cease a particular activity is not allowed. If an Administrator or Moderator asks for a topic or behavior to stop, it must stop or bans will be handed out.

If you feel that you have been unfairly excluded from Brave Collective Services, please fill out a complaint in the complaint form, contact your CEO, your corp leadership or your elected council floaters. Publically rabble rousing over moderation issues (Reddit drama posting, forum spam, pings, or otherwise) without having first attempted those steps may result in further removal of services or other disciplinary action.
