The Ishtar is unique among subcaps in its ability to run Havens safely and effectively, along with lower level sites like Forsaken Hubs and Forsaken Rally Points.

Despite this you still want to avoid sites with Forlorn or Hidden in the name, as their spawns can still overwhelm you.

Havens will be your bread and butter, providing the best ticks and with the chance to lead to a DED site which you can then either sell or run yourself.

The Ishtar should only run Rock Havens and not Gas Havens.

DO NOT run sites in GE-8JV. You are very likely to lose your ship due to high PVP activity.

Repeat For Each Site

  • You absolutely need to be on comms and in standing fleet so you can hear intel and call for support in real time.
  1. Warp to the site at zero.
  2. Activate AB and orbit the Pirate Gate at 30 km. (Ensure you are achieving maximum velocity, this helps your survivability.)
  3. Drop drones on land and let them do their stuff.
  4. Wait for the last wave.
    1. There will be tackle frigs on the second wave if that makes you uncomfortable or if your tank isnt holding under the webs feel free to shoot them.
  5. Once the last wave has spawned start locking up and shooting the Battlecruiser once a few of them are off field and your tank is holding again go back to being afk.
  6. Once that is done recall drones and warp to the next site you dirty krab.

Baddies Being Bads

If you get tackled preform the following, improvising where necessary.

  1. Dont Panic.
  2. Begin aligning to a citadel.
  3. Alert Standing Fleet to your current predicament.
  4. Immediately switch all damage to the tackling ship.
  5. If the point drops or the enemy ship dies, warp off.
  6. GF in local

So You Died

That sucks but eventually it happens to everyone. Here are some steps to help you in your grieving process.

  1. Realize it isnt the end of the world and try to learn a lesson for next time.
    1. If there is no lesson to be learned and you are perfect already skip this step.
  2. Politely let standing fleet know that you will no longer be needing any assistance.
  3. GF in local.
  4. Try not to cry on comms.
